How this works
A project brief comes in through the form. We check it against the published rules of the expert data vendors on this site, tell you which one fits and why, and introduce you only after you agree.
We read the brief
One person reads what you sent: the field, the kind of output, the credential level, the size of the first round and when you want to start.
We check published rules
We compare the brief with what each expert data vendor publishes about the fields it recruits, how it checks credentials, where it works and any minimums.
We tell you who
We write back with the vendor we think fits and the reasons, or tell you plainly that none of them looks right. Nothing has been passed on yet.
Your call
A yes from you is the trigger for an email introduction. After that the vendor scopes and prices the work with you directly.
Lines this site does not cross
- Datasets, prompts, model outputs and samples never reach us: there is no upload, and the brief asks for words only.
- We do not take payment from buyers, for anything.
- We do not negotiate rates or sign agreements on anyone's behalf.
- No experts work for us. This site is neither a vendor nor a marketplace, and it is not an AI lab.
- We do not test or audit vendors. What we say about each one comes from its own published pages, dated.
Where the money comes from
This is an introduction service. If an introduction ends in a signed contract, the vendor may pay a referral fee. Buyers pay nothing. Suggesting a vendor that does not fit would earn nothing, since a poor fit rarely signs.
Who runs it
Expert Data Companies is run by Joe Trewick trading as Grub Leads, a small business that publishes reference sites and makes introductions. It is independent of every vendor named on the site.

Get a quote
About two minutes, in three parts: company ZIP code, your work email, then some taps describing the task. A person reads every brief.
Describe the project in words only. No datasets, prompts, samples or files, here or by email.
Plain terms: we run an introduction service, and a vendor we introduce could pay us for it.
Brief received.
- We set your brief beside what each expert data vendor publishes about fields, credentials and minimums.
- Our email back names one vendor and says why. At that stage your brief has gone nowhere.
- Reply yes and we make the introduction by email; from there, scope, price and contract are settled directly by you and the vendor.
No newsletter and no mailing list. When nothing fits, our email says that instead.
